The successful candidate will be responsible for reliably transporting medication and medical supplies in a safe and timely manner from the facility to medical clinics and to clients across Ontario. Driver will be responsible for daily delivery routes and will pick up and drop off items at scheduled times each day, and providing excellent customer service when interacting with clinic staff and customers. Since they are the face of Sentrex Health Solutions, it is crucial to be reliable, responsible, and professional. In some cases, there are emergency or rush orders that need to be picked up and delivered on an ad hoc basis. The Delivery Driver will work as part of our team in order to ensure that orders are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct client on time. The Delivery Driver will also assist with duties as assigned by management including transporting items between our locations in Ontario and staging all next day deliveries by route.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's license (Class G) in Ontario
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
  • Strong time management and customer service skills.
  • Ability to drive for extended periods and work in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Must be bondable and insurable and complete a criminal background check

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Delivery Driver
  • Experience driving delivery van or truck is an asset.
  • Experience delivering to and from medical clinics or pharmacies is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients in a safe, timely manner.
  • Utilizing Delivery App to follow routing and take pictures of each delivery
  • Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete and the customer is satisfied.
  • Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients in a safe, timely manner.
  • Assisting with unpacking delivery boxes and putting away stock at client sites as required
  • Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling questions or requests from clients.
  • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
  • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
  • Assist in preparing orders for delivery
  • Adhere to all relevant guidelines including the established Standard Operating Procedures and all applicable regulatory requirements as set out by the Provincial Pharmacy Authority
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings
