About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver orders within a designated area. The role offers a flexible schedule and potential opportunities to advance into management or franchise ownership. Drivers may also perform general store-team duties, including preparing products, handling orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, and cleaning. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors and may distribute flyers and door hangers. They must navigate delivery locations, including multi-story buildings and other sites, while carrying orders. The position involves working in a store environment with varying temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot equipment, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts, as well as driving and delivering in varying weather conditions. The job requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, and hand use; occasional bending, crouching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling; and infrequent stair or ladder climbing in store duties. Delivery work can require climbing five or more flights of stairs while carrying pizzas and beverages. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Ability to carry pizzas and beverages and perform walking and climbing duties during deliveries.
Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including lifting cases weighing up to 50 pounds and climbing stairs during deliveries.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses using maps and other navigational skills, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders in person and over the phone.
