About The Position

Scheels is seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join their team. This full-time position involves the safe and accurate loading, transport, assembly, and delivery of merchandise to customers and the store. The role requires a customer-first approach, a team-oriented mindset, and a commitment to taking pride in one's work. Requirements

• Clean, valid driver’s license
• Approved driver through DOT (DOT may not apply to all store locations) and Scheels Driving Standards
• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve assembly and delivery issues
• Be respectful of the customer’s home and property throughout the delivery process

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma, or General Education Degree (GED)
• One to three months of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and accuracy during the loading and transport of merchandise to prevent damage to the products and customers' homes
• Efficiently assemble, service, and deliver customer and store merchandise. This may include, but is not limited to, exercise machines, trampolines, basketball hoops, grills, furniture, game tables, bicycles, and other Scheels merchandise
• Troubleshoot and respond to customer delivery and equipment issues
• Maintain accurate and detailed records for the store, customer equipment, and delivery trucks
• Ensure a clean and professional appearance of the Scheels delivery trucks and the delivery area in your store
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve assembly and delivery issues
• Be respectful of the customer’s home and property throughout the delivery process
• All other duties as assigned
