About The Position
This role involves operating equipment, managing ingredients from delivery to storage, preparing products, handling phone and internet orders, conducting inventory counts, completing paperwork, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. The job requires the ability to stand, walk, sit, lift, carry, push, climb, stoop, bend, crouch, squat, and reach with hands. It also involves tolerating varying temperatures and conditions both indoors and outdoors. Training includes customer service, interactive computer programs, and hands-on practice. Essential skills include accurate mathematical calculations for change, verbal and written communication with customers and coworkers, and safe driving with navigation abilities, including carrying products over adverse terrain and stairs.
Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, lift, carry, push, climb ladders/stairs, stoop/bend, crouch/squat, reach, grasp with hands to use machines-tools-equipment-work aids
- Tolerate exposure to varying temperatures/conditions inside and outside
- Customer service orientation
- Comprehend and communicate verbally and written with customers/co-workers over the phone and in person
- Safely drive own vehicle
- Navigate roads/maps
- Navigate adverse terrain/stairs of delivery sites while carrying products
- Ability to add/subtract/multiply/divide accurately to make correct monetary change (may use calculator)
