About The Position

Domino’s is hiring a Delivery Driver to deliver products or flyers safely, securely, and on time within a designated delivery area. Drivers may use their own insured, registered vehicle in proper working condition or, at some locations, a company vehicle. When deliveries are not busy, drivers help with in-store tasks, including taking and processing orders, preparing products, stocking ingredients, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The role involves customer service, order communication, use of store equipment, and driving to and from delivery locations. The company offers a flexible schedule and paid training, and describes advancement opportunities from Delivery Driver to management and other roles.

Work conditions may include changing and adverse weather, temperatures from approximately 33°F in a cooler to 90°F or higher, food and other odors, cornmeal dust, confined spaces, hot surfaces and products, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. The work includes frequent standing and walking, sitting while driving or completing paperwork, lifting and carrying products and supplies, pushing or pulling trays and trash cans, occasional climbing stairs or ladders, bending, crouching, squatting, and continuous reaching and hand use. Delivery duties may require carrying products while walking and climbing, including navigating five or more flights of stairs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license in good standing and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have three or fewer moving violations in the last three years.
• Must not have had drug- or alcohol-related motor vehicle violations in the last five years.
• Must have access to reliable transportation; delivery using a personal vehicle requires an insured, registered vehicle in proper working condition. Company vehicles may be available at some locations.
• Must be able to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain and carry products while walking and climbing.
• Must have verbal, writing, and telephone communication skills to take and process orders.
• Must be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen and operate store equipment.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
• Must be able to speak, hear, and understand verbal communication by telephone and in person.
• Must be able to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces; far vision and night vision are needed for delivery duties.
• Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, and make judgments and decisions.
• Must be able to perform the physical duties described, including lifting cases weighing up to 50 pounds and reaching, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and climbing as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products or flyers within the designated delivery area safely, securely, and on time.
• Use navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses, including at multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Help with in-store tasks when not busy taking deliveries.
• Take and process orders by phone and communicate with customers in person.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products and operate store equipment.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Unload and stock bulk product deliveries, including lifting and stacking cases.
