About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products by car to customers within a designated delivery area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including management and franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Drivers must also perform general store-team duties, which include operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, receiving and processing orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The job involves customer and coworker communication, order entry, handling money, and navigating delivery locations, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings. Work takes place in a pizza store and on deliveries. Conditions may include hot and cold areas, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and varying weather. Physical duties include standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies and orders, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, reaching, and driving.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the stated physical duties, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and driving.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers within a designated delivery area and bring them to the customer’s door.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Enter and process orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen, and communicate with customers and coworkers by phone and in person.
Navigate to addresses, including adverse terrain, private homes, and multi-story buildings.
Unload and stock product deliveries, including lifting cases weighing up to 50 pounds.
