About The Position

Domino's is hiring delivery drivers to make deliveries in the designated area and periodically assist with in-store work, including food preparation and cleaning. The position includes on-the-job orientation and training. Drivers must use an insured, registered vehicle that meets safety standards and must be listed on its insurance policy. The vehicle and driver are subject to periodic delivery vehicle inspections and driving-history eligibility requirements. The stated pay is $20.00 per hour, plus tips and mileage. Drivers must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and at least two years of licensed driving history in the United States, with documentation to prove it.
• Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history of at least 1.5 years during the last two years, subject to the stated suspension timing restriction.
• Driving record must meet the stated standards: no more than one violation and one at-fault accident in the last two years; no more than two violations and one at-fault accident in the last three years; no more than three violations in the last three years; no more than one at-fault accident in the last three years; no distracted or inattentive driving violations in the last three years; and no serious violations in the past five years.
• Must have access to a vehicle that is insured, registered, and meets safety standards; the driver must be listed on the vehicle's insurance policy.
• Must have customer service and verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
• Must be able to read maps, locate addresses, and navigate delivery areas and adverse terrain.
• Must be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, with a calculator if needed, and make correct monetary change.
• Must have motor coordination, eye-hand coordination, and the ability to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
• Must be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays; this is mandatory.
• Must be able to perform the described physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent use of hands and wrists.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders to customers within the designated delivery area, including navigating adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying products.
• Periodically assist with in-store tasks such as food preparation, cleaning, and other general team-member duties.
• Operate store equipment; stock ingredients and supplies; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete associated paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility daily.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone to take and process orders.
• Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders and make accurate monetary change.
• Perform delivery vehicle inspections at the start of employment and periodically thereafter under store or franchisee supervision.
• Work weekends and holidays, as required.
