About The Position

This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and receiving/processing telephone orders. The position also requires taking inventory, completing paperwork, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. Training is provided on the job. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, and effective verbal and written communication for order processing. Motor coordination for precise hand and finger movements, and the ability to enter orders via computer keyboard or touch screen are also crucial. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, temperature fluctuations, food odors, commercial dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include extensive standing and walking on various surfaces, with work surfaces generally between 36" and 48". Sitting is primarily for completing paperwork. Lifting involves unloading bulk product deliveries (up to 60 lbs) using a hand truck and stacking cases up to 72" high. Carrying includes items like large cans (3 lbs 7 oz) and occasionally pizza sauce (30 lbs), as well as trays of pizza dough (approx. 12 lbs each). Pushing is required for moving trays on dollies. Climbing stairs or ladders may be necessary for maintenance or sign changes. Stooping/bending is required at the pizza assembly station and front counter, and when stacking ingredients. Crouching/squatting is performed occasionally for stocking or cleaning low areas. Reaching (up, down, and forward) is continuous for various tasks including oven controls, sign changes, stocking, and cleaning. Hand tasks require eye-hand coordination and continuous use of hands, including forceful use of forearms and wrists for shaping dough, manipulating tools, and pinching for box assembly. Tools and equipment used may include pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. The delivery aspect of the role requires operating a car to deliver products to customers, as well as delivering flyers and marketing materials. A valid driver's license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle are required. Essential skills for delivery include navigational abilities to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and the ability to navigate various terrains and multi-story buildings while carrying product. Physical demands for delivery include carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages while walking and climbing. Driving is a primary function, with multiple deliveries per shift expected. Walking involves travel between the store and the delivery vehicle, and to/from the customer's location. Climbing may involve navigating five or more flights of stairs during deliveries. Work conditions for delivery include exposure to varying weather conditions.

  • Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
  • Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
  • Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
  • Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
  • Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
