About The Position

Transport employees, property, and merchandise to and from Ashford warehouse and park operating units in a 14-passenger van. Occasionally drive vehicles to other locations including airport pick-ups and trips to town. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager. Our All-Star team members enjoy fantastic perks and an amazing work environment! While we operate year-round, our primary season is the summer months, with most employment opportunities available between April and October.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent required
• Current US driver license with clean vehicle driving record required
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail required
• Able to drive a large vehicle, sit and stand for extended periods.
• Able to safely drive vehicle up winding mountain roads between multiple units in the park several times daily.
• Able to climb steps regularly sometimes while carrying heavy load.
• Withstand temperature extremes in freezer, refrigerator walk-in, warehouse, and outside environment.
• Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of vendors, drivers and co-workers and the ability to speak clearly to be understood by same in English.
• Able to read and write work-related documents in English.
• Physical presence at the job site is essential to perform job duties.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 14-passenger van up and down mountain roads on a daily basis.
• Perform vehicle pre-trip safety inspection such as lights, brakes, horns, or windshield wipers, to ensure proper operation and maintain vehicle trip log.
• Report any vehicle malfunctions or needed repairs/maintenance to management immediately.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as regulating tire pressure and adding gasoline/propane, oil, and water.
• Enforce and comply with company and DOT safety policies and laws for everyone in the vehicle.
• Safely load product, laundry, and recycling onto and off of truck, often unassisted.
• Maintain food temperature log of food supplies transported in vehicle.
• Occasionally assist with employee trips to and from the airport, into Seattle, and elsewhere.
• Assist in warehouse and laundry units as needed.
