About The Position

This is a full-time, hourly non-exempt position for a Home Delivery Driver. The role involves loading, securing, transporting, delivering, and unloading gasoline, oil, and propane products. The driver must adhere to all DOT and HazMat regulations, safety standards, and company policies. The position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and handling products with potential exposure to fumes. The driver will also be responsible for completing paperwork, maintaining safety records, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Occasional collection of monetary payments from customers may be necessary.

Requirements

Valid DOT physical card.
Successful completion of a pre-employment functional evaluation and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

CDL B with HazMat and Tank Endorsements.
CTEP qualifications (must obtain within 1 year of employment if not currently certified).
Prior driving experience.
Prior experience with HazMat material.

Responsibilities

Follow route and time schedule provided by the Dispatcher.
Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle in accordance with company standards.
Maintain safety and compliance records 100% of the time.
Provide quality customer satisfaction to all customers and business contacts.
Inform customers of new products and services.
Complete logs and reports according to company standards, policies, and procedures.
Participate in any job-related training and/or certifications and safety meetings.
Report to work as scheduled, with minimal absenteeism and tardiness, work overtime as necessary, and participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
Perform other job-related activities and special projects as assigned.
