About The Position

The Delivery Driver operates equipment; stocks ingredients from the delivery area into storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler; prepares products; receives and processes telephone orders; takes inventory and completes associated paperwork; and cleans equipment and the facility approximately daily. The role delivers products by car to customers’ doors and distributes flyers and door hangers. It requires navigating the designated delivery area and varied delivery sites, including multi-story buildings and private homes, sometimes over adverse terrain while carrying products. The driver also communicates with customers and co-workers, processes orders, handles payments, and uses a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Requirements

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying product.
