About The Position
We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Delivery Driver to join our team at our St. Louis, United States location on Manchester Rd. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and professional delivery of packages and goods to our customers throughout the St. Louis area. As a Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of our organization, and we're seeking someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle class being operated
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Proven experience operating delivery or commercial vehicles
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift, carry, and load packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
- Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and route planning tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
- A great attitude and an easy smile are required.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with the St. Louis area and local road networks
- Experience with delivery management software or mobile applications
- Commercial driving experience or CDL certification
Responsibilities
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Plan and execute optimal delivery routes to meet daily delivery schedules and customer expectations
- Load, unload, and secure packages and goods in the delivery vehicle with care
- Interact professionally with customers, collect signatures, and address delivery-related inquiries
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery documentation and mileage logs
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns
- Meet or exceed daily delivery targets while maintaining a clean driving record
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or customer issues
- Ensure all packages are delivered to the correct addresses in a timely manner
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively in all customer interactions
