About The Position
This role involves operating all necessary equipment, stocking ingredients from delivery areas to storage and work areas, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory and completing associated paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility on a daily basis. The position requires the ability to perform basic math calculations, make correct monetary changes, and utilize verbal, writing, and telephone skills for order processing. Motor coordination for rapid and accurate hand/finger movements, ability to enter orders via computer or touchscreen, and comprehension of written instructions are essential. Effective verbal communication with customers and coworkers is necessary for order processing, both over the phone and in person. Responsibilities include delivering products by car to customer doors and distributing flyers and door hangers. Strong navigational skills are required to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, including navigating adverse terrain such as multi-story buildings and private homes while carrying product.
Requirements
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
- Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
