This role involves operating all necessary equipment, stocking ingredients from delivery areas and storage, preparing products, and receiving/processing telephone orders. The position also requires taking inventory, completing paperwork, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. Training is provided on the job. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to perform basic math calculations, and proficiency in using a computer keyboard or touch screen for order entry. The work environment can involve varying temperatures, exposure to food odors and dust, and working in cramped spaces. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, crouching, and reaching. Hand tasks require eye-hand coordination and may involve forceful use of forearms and wrists. The delivery aspect of the role requires a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, and navigational skills to deliver products to customers within a designated area, which may include adverse terrain and multi-story buildings. Delivery personnel will also be responsible for distributing marketing materials.
