About The Position
The Delivery Driver is responsible for collecting payments, ensuring product accuracy and quality, and delivering items to customers safely and in a timely manner. This role also involves vehicle inspection, upholding company standards, promoting products, and providing excellent customer service. Additionally, the Delivery Driver will receive cross-training in various store operations, including product preparation, opening/closing procedures, and boxing products. A sense of urgency and strong communication skills are essential for this position, as is the ability to contribute to a positive team environment.
Requirements
- Ability to speak and write clearly and comprehension of using a computer based order entry system
Responsibilities
- Collect cash/credit card payments and coupons for delivered items
- Check all products for accuracy against quality standards for delivery and carry out customers in a safe and timely manner
- Ensure vehicle used for delivery pass inspection, both mechanically and visually
- Uphold Domino's standards of grooming, uniform, and appearance
- Promote pizza products, specials, and promotions
- Receive cross-training for preparing products and ingredients, closing and opening procedures, operate pizza oven, and properly box products for delivery or carryout
- Exhibit a sense of urgency when answering store phone lines or helping carryout customers
- Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers both over the phone and in person
- Contribute to and promote an atmosphere of teamwork, energy, and fun
