About The Position
The Delivery Driver (Store Delivery Expert) is responsible for operating all equipment, stocking and rotating ingredients from delivery to storage/work area/walk-in cooler, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone and internet orders, counting inventory and completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job training includes customer service orientation, interactive computer programs, and hands-on practice. Customer service skills involve the ability to safely drive one's own vehicle, navigate roads and maps, and handle adverse terrain/stairs at delivery sites while carrying products. Essential skills include the ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide to make monetary change, with the option to use a calculator. General physical demands include the ability to stand, walk, sit, lift, carry, push, climb ladders/stairs, stoop/bend, crouch/squat, reach, and grasp with hands to use machines, tools, equipment, and work aids, as well as tolerating exposure to varying temperatures and conditions both inside and outside.
