This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, inventory management, and cleaning. Essential functions include accurate math skills, communication abilities, and motor coordination for order entry. The work environment includes varying temperatures, food odors, and potential exposure to dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensing requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, and occasional sitting for paperwork. Lifting involves handling deliveries up to 50 pounds, often from floor to shelves up to 72 inches high. Carrying includes items like large cans and pizza sauce, as well as trays of pizza dough. Pushing is required for moving trays on dollies, and pulling may also be involved. Climbing stairs or ladders may be necessary. Stooping/bending is required at the pizza assembly station and when stocking ingredients. Crouching/squatting is performed occasionally for stocking and cleaning. Reaching is continuous, up, down, and forward, including reaching above 72 inches for oven controls or sign changes. Hand tasks require eye-hand coordination, with frequent and/or forceful use of hands, wrists, and forearms for tasks like shaping dough, using a pizza peel, and pinching for box assembly. Grasping various items is also necessary. Team members may utilize pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. In addition to store team member duties, drivers are responsible for delivering product by car to the customer's door, delivering flyers, and may be required to access an insured vehicle for delivery. Essential skills for drivers include navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses, and the ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings and various delivery sites while carrying product. Physical demands for drivers include carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages during deliveries, driving within a designated area, and walking between the vehicle and customer locations. Climbing up to five or more flights of stairs may be required during deliveries. Work conditions for drivers include exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries and driving.
