About The Position
This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position with some on-call/overtime/overnight requirements. The role involves driving a box truck along a 2-day, overnight route within the state of Texas to deliver product, and working in the warehouse and performing local deliveries from the Mansfield store location on Wednesdays through Fridays. Responsibilities include verifying loaded items, receiving and verifying incoming/outgoing shipments, assisting with phones, counter help, and building maintenance. The role also includes receiving and stocking inventory, unloading truck freight, operating a forklift, and general warehouse duties.
Requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
- Must have clean driving record and current TXDL.
- Must have strong customer service skills.
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- CDL is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Drive a box truck along a 2-day, overnight, state of Texas route to deliver product.
- Work in the warehouse and do local deliveries as they arise.
- Verify all items are loaded/packed securely and double check items for errors.
- Receive all items either shipped/delivered into or out of the Warehouse and verify packing slip for vendor ship errors.
- Assist with answering phones, counter help and building maintenance as needed.
- Receive and stock inventory.
- Unload truck freight deliveries.
- Run a forklift.
- Perform general warehouse work.
