About The Position
Delaware Tire Centers is a family-run, local business established in 1968. We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly driver to deliver tires to our wholesale customers and perform other assigned duties. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. We are looking for conscientious, quality-minded individuals who can accurately read and understand numbers, figures, and descriptions. Accuracy is essential. We are hiring multiple candidates for this role.
Requirements
- Ability to drive a regular half-ton (1500) regular cab pickup truck with automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes.
- Ability to lift and move tires weighing up to 50 pounds each.
- Clean driving record with no DUI or moving violations in the last 3 years.
- At least 5 years of driving experience.
- At least 21 years of age when hired.
- Ability to read and understand numbers, figures, and descriptions.
- Accuracy is a must.
Responsibilities
- Deliver tires to wholesale customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
