Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate
About The Position
Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate for their Syracuse, NY location. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively and efficiently deliver HVAC products to our technicians in the field, and help out in the warehouse in between deliveries. For over 75 years, Isaac Heating and Air Conditioning has worked diligently to meet the changing heating and air conditioning needs of homeowners and businesses in Upstate and Central New York. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to obtain a DOT medical card for driving larger vehicles (no CDL required)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for loading delivery vehicles with parts scheduled for delivery and completing efficient deliveries and pick-up routes.
- Ensures that product is delivered to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary.
- Accountable for picking up products along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested.
- Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made as required.
- Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor.
- Assists in general warehouse duties when delivery routes are completed.
- Responsible for travel as business dictates and have the ability to accommodate a flexible schedule to meet workload needs.
