About The Position

Superior Beverage Group is a family-owned and operated company established in 1922. Our Delivery Truck Trainees/Helpers contribute to the positive experiences of customers across Northeastern and Central Ohio. This role offers the opportunity to earn a CDL license through our training program while assisting Delivery Drivers in delivering beer, wine, and non-alcoholic products to customers. The training includes on-the-job, on-the-road, and classroom components at our facility. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding role in an environment focused on meeting customer needs for beer and wine.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and great driving record.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
Willingness and interest in obtaining a Class A commercial driver's license.
Willingness and interest in driving a Non-CDL box truck.
Ability to maneuver 168-pound kegs and 35-pound cases at each delivery location.
Capable of performing duties in various outdoor weather conditions.
Solid math skills.

Responsibilities

Actively pursue and train for the Class A commercial driver's license.
Assist drivers in unloading beer from our delivery trucks at each account in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner.
Run Non-CDL box truck routes as needed.
Rotate company products in retail accounts.
Train on driver iPad technology.
Interact with customers in a professional manner and promote a positive company image.
Gain knowledge and comply with DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations and guidelines.
