We are currently seeking a hard-working Delivery Driver/Swamper to join our Calgary delivery team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role plays a vital part in delivering our premium flooring products to job sites across Calgary and surrounding areas. This position requires a strong work ethic, a focus on safety, and a commitment to providing excellence while representing Divine's core values. All drivers must have a valid Class 5 License and provide a clean driver's abstract within 30-days of hire. This is a highly labour intensive position.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Physically capable: Comfortable lifting up to 120 lbs consistently throughout the day.
  • Team-oriented: Positive attitude with a willingness to support your team and contribute to a strong workplace culture.
  • Punctual & dependable: Demonstrated history of excellent attendance and reliability.
  • Safety-first mindset: Strong awareness and commitment to safe work practices on and off the road.
  • Well-organized: Able to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional communicator: Clear and respectful communication with customers, contractors, and colleagues.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience operating a 5-ton truck; experience driving in winter conditions is considered an asset.
  • Gained experience in a physically demanding role, preferably in a delivery or warehouse environment.
  • Developed familiarity with basic tools and equipment used in handling building materials (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a 5-Ton Truck to deliver a variety of flooring products to residential job sites throughout Calgary and surrounding areas.
  • Load and unload materials using proper lifting techniques and equipment, ensuring product is handled with care and accuracy.
  • Verify delivery documentation, ensuring all records are complete and accurate.
  • Meet daily delivery and production goals while maintaining efficiency and quality standards.
  • Follow all Company Health & Safety policies, identifying and mitigating any on-site hazards proactively.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, dispatch, and site personnel to ensure smooth delivery operations.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties such as receiving, inventory movement, and order picking when not on delivery routes.
  • Perform pre- and post- trip vehicle inspections and report any issues or required maintenance promptly.
