About The Position

Responsible for assisting route delivery drivers, store merchandising, and hot shot deliveries. This role involves building and maintaining product displays in compliance with company standards, potentially using a personal vehicle for travel between stores with mileage reimbursement. The position requires maintaining professional relationships with co-workers and customers, ensuring merchandising standards are met while rotating products, and facing all products for customer appeal. Key physical tasks include continuously stacking and un-stacking cases of soft drinks weighing between 5 to 40 pounds, moving heavy pallets with hand jacks, and utilizing forklifts or electric pallet jacks when possible. The role also emphasizes following good manufacturing and housekeeping practices, adhering to all safety guidelines, wearing appropriate PPE, and complying with OSHA safety standards. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Requirements

Good interpersonal and written/verbal communication skill.
High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
One (1) year general work experience required working with minimal supervision.
Ability to read.
Ability to respond to common inquiries.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions supplied both written and verbal.
Close attention to detail required to verify product stock numbers and date codes.
Valid driver’s license, current vehicle liability insurance, and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack to lift/move product.
