About The Position

Delivery Drivers service approximately 120-180 local residential accounts per shift, which include a mix of doorstep household and walk-in office locations. On occasion, Delivery Drivers will deliver compostable goods to office and restaurant customers. The primary duty involves collecting 4-gallon bins containing food waste and leaving a clean, empty bin in its place, ensuring the customer's location is left clean and free of debris. After completing their route, drivers return to the CompostNow warehouse to unload their van. Additional responsibilities include conducting pre- and post-trip safety and vehicle checks, weighing bins, recording bin weights, taking service notes, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness. This role operates in a dynamic environment with opportunities to test and launch new services, such as scaled composting and specialty recycling programs. Team members are expected to be adaptable and willing to learn as operational updates and new initiatives are implemented to improve and expand the company's impact.

Requirements

Comfortable maneuvering large vehicles.
Clean driving records.
Ability to pass a background check.
Operate vehicles in accordance with CompostNow safety rules, OSHA and DOT requirements, and local, state, and federal laws.

Responsibilities
