About The Position

Boulevard Tire Center is looking for an experienced Delivery Driver in our Orlando, FL location. This role is responsible for transporting products, meeting delivery schedules, and ensuring the safety and quality of tires during loading, transit, and unloading. The driver will also maintain logs, the appearance of company vehicles, and assist with various duties when not driving. Compliance with company safety policies and accurate record-keeping are essential.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED.
Demonstrated knowledge of DOT regulations.
Current Class B Commercial Driver's license required, with demonstrated knowledge of air brakes.
Clean driving record required.
Ability to read, write, speak English.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and customers.
Must be willing to undergo and pass a pre-employment drug screen, social security, MVR check, criminal background check and reference check.
Must possess a valid Florida's driver's license.
Must read and write English.
Must be physically and mentally able to safely perform the essential functions without obvious risk of injury to the employee and co-workers.

Responsibilities

Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
Transport product to and from locations via company vehicle.
Meet delivery schedules and stops as designated.
Load and unload truck with tires, mounted or loose, to customers and/or company locations in Florida.
Ensure the safety of every load during loading, transit, and unloading.
Maintain the quality of tires during loading, unloading, and transportation.
Maintain all driver logs.
Maintain the appearance of all trucks and/or trailers.
Alert Manager of truck maintenance needs.
Assist team with various duties as assigned by Manager when not driving.
Comply with Company Safety Policies.
Keep accurate records of deliveries, ensuring delivered product matches invoice or work order, and including appropriate signatures.
Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
