About The Position
At Farmingdale Meat Market, our Delivery Drivers are the face of our company, and this role requires prompt delivery of customer orders while ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. Ideal Delivery Driver candidates must value safety and quality, and demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to work in a fast-paced work environment. Reliability, a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a sense of urgency are musts for this role.
Requirements
- Driver’s license
- Ability to work weekend shifts
- Flexibility to work on-call
- Ability to lift orders and load and unload delivery trucks
Nice To Haves
- General knowledge of meat products is a plus!
- Knowledge of Long Island and New York roadways
- Bilingual a plus
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely delivery of customer orders
- Review orders prior to delivery
- Load and unload trucks
- Unload goods to customer specifications
- Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer
