About The Position

Imperial Dade is seeking a Non-CDL Delivery Driver to join their team in City of Industry, CA. This role is responsible for delivering products to various stops daily, unloading merchandise using a hand, pallet jack, and dolly, and delivering it to the customer's preferred location. The position requires safe operation of a 26’ box truck with air brakes, loading and unloading cargo, tracking activity logs, reporting issues to dispatch, inspecting the truck, and communicating with customers. The available shifts are Tuesday to Friday, from 5am-3:30pm, or Monday-Thursday from 5am-3:30pm. The pay rate is $21/hourly plus overtime and a sign-on bonus after 90 days.

Requirements

• A good driving record.
• 1 year of route delivery experience.
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience.
• Lift gate experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted.
• Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam and a Non-DOT drug exam.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to stops per day.
• Unload merchandise using a hand, a pallet jack, and a dolly.
• Deliver merchandise to the customer's preferred location.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Safely operate a 26’ box truck with air brakes up to 25,999 GVW.
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate.
• Properly track and document the activity log.
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch.
• Inspect the truck before and after the trip.
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing attitude.
