About The Position

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., is an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships. This position involves driving a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles to make 10-20 deliveries per day. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 5:00 am - 1:30 pm or until deliveries are completed, with potential for schedule changes, overtime, and weekend work based on business needs.

Requirements

Must be 21 years or older.
1 year of professional driving experience (cube van, box truck or semi).
Satisfactory completion of company road test by qualified assessor.
Ability to be trained and safely use powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high reach lifts.
Possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds.
Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (does not test for THC/marijuana).
Valid DOT Medical Card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines.
Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require U.S. Venture’s sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles on assigned routes, making 10-20 deliveries per day.
Complete and maintain accurate records and logs, including driver's logs and fuel purchase logs.
Make on-time deliveries to customer locations safely and punctually in all weather conditions.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the assigned vehicle.
Lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds. Use team lifts or mechanical equipment for commercial tires. Exert up to 40 pounds of pushing force for barrels or industrial/agricultural tires.
Assist in loading/unloading trucks and operate equipment like forklift pallet jacks and order pickers when needed.
Operate a handheld device to ensure all deliveries are fulfilled.
Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
Collect payments from customers upon delivery of product.
Perform other job-related tasks and follow instructions from supervisors as assigned.
