About The Position

The Delivery Driver - Non CDL is responsible for delivering building materials and products to and from customer job sites. This role involves loading and unloading company vehicles, preparing customer orders, and operating a forklift. The driver will also handle customer service, inventory management, and snow removal during winter months.

Requirements

• Basic Reading Skills
• Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 100lbs
• Prior lumber yard experience
• Prior building materials experience
• Clean Driving Record
• Forklift certification/license

Responsibilities

• Load, deliver, and unload company vehicles in accordance with delivery invoices, including lifting and carrying merchandise, lumber, and building materials.
• Prepare customer orders by retrieving merchandise and materials from storage areas according to customer invoices.
• Operate a forklift to load, unload, and stock merchandise as needed.
• Adhere to all approved company policies and procedures.
• Report customer complaints to the Manager.
• Inventory goods and notify the Manager of shortages and needed goods to be ordered.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Removal and shoveling of snow from material piles and yard during winter months.
