About The Position

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., brings together more than 100 years of experience as an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships. This position involves driving a parcel, cube van, or box truck up to 26,001 pounds, following safety procedures, maintaining logs, performing vehicle inspections, loading and unloading trucks, and providing customer service including collecting cash on deliveries. The schedule is Monday – Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm or until the route is complete, with a Saturday rotation for overtime. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may require overtime.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older (mandatory company policy)
• 1 year of professional driving experience (cube van, box truck or semi), and satisfactory completion of company road test by qualified assessor
• Ability to be trained and safely use powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high reach lifts, as required
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record in compliance with our driver policy
• Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
• Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds - working with barrels and industrial/agricultural tires
• Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana)
• Valid DOT Medical Card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Drive a parcel, cube van, or box truck up to 26,001 pounds
• Follow and safety procedures per training manual
• Keep complete and accurate records and logs of all driving and deliveries
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Load and unload trucks as needed
• Provide quality customer service during every interaction
• Collect and handle cash on deliveries
