About The Position

DME Express is experiencing tremendous growth and is seeking dedicated drivers/technicians to deliver and pick up medical equipment such as wheelchairs, hospital beds, and oxygen to hospice patients. As a medical supply company committed to service excellence, we are looking for individuals who share our passion for serving the hospice industry. While no prior experience is required, we will train the right candidates. The average pay for this position varies based on experience.

Requirements

• Must have a positive attitude at all times.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds on a daily basis.

Nice To Haves

• No experience required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Determine the best daily route, assemble, and deliver all needed equipment, educating patients and families on proper usage.
• Enforce all DOT and FDA regulations pertaining to Oxygen and DME for the assigned service center.
• Ensure appropriate stock levels and maintain cleanliness in the warehouse and delivery vehicle.
• Ensure all Medical Equipment Technicians adhere to company and accreditation standards.
• Provide patient/client orientation and instructions on the proper use of equipment.
• Work with patients/clients to solve problems, acting as a company field representative.
• Complete delivery and pickup processes accurately and promptly via the app.
• Assist in cleaning, disinfecting, and minor repairs of equipment.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance on assigned vehicles.
• Maintain a neat and clean personal appearance.
• Promote teamwork by assisting fellow drivers as needed.
• Potentially work Saturdays/Sundays on a predetermined, rotating schedule.
• Take 'on call' time on a predetermined, rotating basis during weekdays and weekends.
• Perform warehouse and office maintenance tasks as required.
• Demonstrate timeliness, courtesy, sincerity, and patience when working with clients.
• Market the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.
