About The Position

DME Express is experiencing significant growth and is seeking dedicated drivers/technicians to deliver and pick up medical equipment such as wheelchairs, hospital beds, and oxygen to hospice patients. As a medical supply company committed to service excellence, we are looking for individuals with a passion for serving this industry. While no prior experience is required, we will provide training for the right candidates. The average pay for this position varies based on experience.

Requirements

Must have a positive attitude at all times.
Must have a clean driving record.
Must be able to lift 75 pounds on a daily basis.
Accepts other duties and activities as assigned.

Responsibilities

Determine the best daily route, assemble, deliver, and pick up all needed equipment.
Educate patients and families on the proper use of medical equipment.
Enforce all DOT and FDA regulations pertaining to Oxygen and DME.
Ensure appropriate stock levels and maintain cleanliness in the warehouse and delivery vehicle.
Ensure all Medical Equipment Technicians adhere to company and accreditation standards.
Provide patient/client orientation and instructions on equipment use.
Act as a company field representative, solving problems for patients/clients.
Promptly and accurately complete delivery and pickup processes through the app.
Assist in cleaning, disinfecting, and minor repairs of medical equipment.
Perform daily preventive maintenance on assigned vehicles.
Maintain a neat and clean personal appearance.
Promote teamwork by assisting fellow drivers as needed.
Work Saturday/Sundays on a predetermined, rotating schedule.
Take "on call" time on a predetermined, rotating basis during weekdays and weekends.
Perform warehouse and office maintenance tasks as required.
Demonstrate timeliness, courtesy, sincerity, and patience when working with clients.
Market the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.
