About The Position

This role is not a traditional driving position; it blends logistics, yard operations, and field support. The Delivery Driver & Material Handler will perform deliveries and pick-ups of materials, equipment, and machinery across job sites. They will load, unload, secure, and transport equipment such as Bobcats, pipes, and materials. The position requires flexibility to shift between driving, yard work, and shop responsibilities based on operational needs. Additionally, the role involves assisting with job site setup, including moving materials and supporting installation-type activities, and maintaining communication with installers, site personnel, and internal teams to coordinate work. Following delivery routes and schedules provided through internal systems is also a key part of the role.

Requirements

Valid CDL (Class A preferred).
Clean driving and background record, including the ability to pass site and military base checks.
Ability to operate or willingness to be trained on heavy equipment and trailers.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with job site personnel and unions.
Problem-solving and adaptability in dynamic job site environments.
Ability to lift up to approximately 75 lbs when required.
Frequent movement in and out of trucks, yard work, and equipment operation.
Ability to work outdoors and in physically active environments.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in driving, logistics, or construction-related roles.
Experience working with trailers, machinery, and load securement.

Forklift and skid steer operating experience.
