About The Position
This position is for a Delivery Driver – Linen Service in Mid-Missouri, specifically serving the Lake of the Ozarks area. The role involves delivering clean linens and picking up used linens on a set route. It is described as a physically demanding job, requiring the ability to push, pull, and repeatedly lift heavy carts weighing up to 45 lbs, often up and down hills, docks, and ramps. The driver will operate a 26’ commercial box truck on challenging, winding, and hilly lake roads in various weather conditions. The job demands skill, focus, and stamina, and requires the ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service. Requirements
- Valid Class E driver’s license (or equivalent)
- Five-year clean driving record (no exceptions)
- Strong, reliable, and able to handle hard physical labor daily
- Safety-minded, dependable, and self-motivated
- Good with people and problem solving
Responsibilities
- Deliver clean linens and pick up dirty linens on a set route
- Push, pull, and lift carts weighing up to 45 lbs repeatedly
- Safely drive a 26’ box truck in challenging road and weather conditions
- Work independently to get the job done without someone looking over your shoulder
- Provide top-notch customer service and handle issues as they come up
