About The Position

Revolution Foods is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Delivery Driver to manage the daily distribution of meals and snacks to local schools. This role is crucial for fulfilling assigned orders, accurately counting items loaded onto the delivery truck, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products. The driver will operate a delivery truck on public roadways and play a key role in the customer service experience. Candidates must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license, experience operating a 16-ft box truck, and maintain a clean driving record.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience operating a 16’ box truck or similar vehicle
Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a driving test, background check, TB test, and drug screening
Basic knowledge of food safety and handling requirements
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order verification and documentation
Ability to work early morning, flexible schedules, and varied shifts
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and team members
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage assigned routes
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude

Responsibilities

Deliver meals and snacks to assigned school sites based on daily delivery plans and routes
Verify daily routes and coordinate with dispatch regarding changes, delays, or road conditions
Load, pack, and accurately count all orders before departure according to company specifications
Safely operate a company delivery van/box truck on public roads
Perform pre-trip inspections and complete daily truck checks, including fuel levels
Maintain full operational control of the vehicle and exercise sound judgment while driving
Inspect food items for quality and perform spot checks during loading, delivery, and unloading
Ensure food safety standards are followed, including temperature checks for chilled products
Report any food safety or quality concerns to management immediately
Verify deliveries, obtain signatures, and complete all required delivery documentation
Track and report any shortages, rejections, or discrepancies
Communicate professionally with school staff and provide excellent customer service
Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional demeanor at all times
Follow all food safety, workplace safety, and PPE requirements
Use delivery equipment safely, including pallet jacks, dock plates, straps, pallets, and related tools
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the delivery vehicle and equipment
Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or property damage immediately
Support loading, unloading, additional routes, and other operational tasks as needed
