About The Position

The Delivery Driver II is an experienced Kreher delivery driver responsible for safely and efficiently delivering products to Kreher customers. The role assists with loading trucks, operates the truck, and unloads products according to proper procedures. The driver represents Kreher Family Farms to customers and builds positive relationships with customer personnel. The position often works independently; additional duties may be assigned as business needs require.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid New York State CDL-A.
• At least 4 years of commercial truck driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Ability to maintain a DOT Medical Certificate.
• Exceptional tractor-trailer driving skills.
• Strong customer relationship skills.
• Skill operating a power jack.
• Safety-first mentality and commitment to careful product handling.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Efficiency-minded approach.
• Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Shipping and Receiving with loading the truck.
• Ensure the load is properly secured.
• Perform pre-trip inspections, including reefer, temperature, and DOT truck safety items.
• Drive safely to the destination.
• Unload the correct order.
• Interact with receiving individuals in a professional, positive manner.
• At each stop, verify refrigeration temperature and load security.
• Accurately complete paperwork, including bills of lading, SQF documents, logbooks, and vehicle inspection reports.
• Build positive relationships with customers and represent Kreher Family Farms professionally.
