About The Position

The Delivery Driver/Houseman is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of commissary items, dry goods, and paper goods to outlets throughout Onni’s Chicago food and beverage portfolio. This role also assists with houseman duties, helps with equipment set-up and breakdown for special events, and supports general item movement as needed.

Requirements

• Must have a valid, unexpired driver’s license
• No serious traffic violations, accidents, or major moving violations (MVR background check required)
• Previous experience with commercial deliveries
• Ability to operate a company vehicle
• Ability to work evenings or weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle to deliver commissary, dry goods, and paper goods to designated food and beverage outlets on a scheduled and as-needed basis
• Safely load, transport, and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and timely delivery to each location
• Verify order accuracy against delivery requisitions before distribution
• Assist with the movement, transport, and storage of additional items and supplies as directed
• Maintain organized, safe, and clean storage and delivery areas
• Support restaurant houseman functions, including cleaning, restocking, and general upkeep of restaurant areas
• Assist front-of-house and back-of-house teams with basic maintenance and cleanliness tasks as needed
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment, furniture, and materials for special events
• Coordinate with the Event Chef and events/banquet staff to ensure timely setup and teardown
