About The Position

General Beer Northeast, a large beverage distributor in the Fox Valley, has an opening for a Full-Time Delivery Driver Helper. This position requires assistance in delivering products to assigned accounts in a professional and efficient manner, as well as being responsible for merchandising and product rotation. We are looking for an energetic individual with a strong work ethic and a strong sense of responsibility to join and contribute to our GB team. The schedule is a 4-day work week, working four 10-hour days (Tuesday – Friday), with no weekends. This role offers an early start and the opportunity to be home every evening. This position also provides on-the-job training to become a Delivery Driver.

Requirements

• Ability to operate a 2-wheel hand cart up and/or downstairs.
• Ability to operate power assisted cart equipment.
• Ability to repeatedly lift and move kegs weighing up to 175 lbs.
• Ability to get in and out of a delivery truck repeatedly throughout the day.
• Ability to accept responsibility and account for their actions.
• Must be able to lift from 5 to 150 lbs. multiple times per day.
• Must be able to crawl, reach, twist, and bend.
• Must have a Wisconsin Driver’s License
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and lift test.

Nice To Haves

• CDL not required upon hire, however, this position is on-the-job training to become a Delivery Driver therefore we provide training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering products to assigned accounts in a professional and efficient manner.
• Merchandise and stock shelves.
• Maintain appropriate product rotation.
• Unload products at all customer locations by use of a hand truck or by hand.
• Follow all check-in procedures at each customer's location.
• Stock all shelves, coolers, and storage rooms as needed.
• Merchandise all the products being delivered.
• Safeguard and account for company invoices, cash, checks, or other forms of payment and other company property under your control.
• Complete all required internal control records, forms, invoices, and reports properly and accurately.
• Rotate all products.
• Ensure every product delivered is displayed in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Fill cooler and shelves as needed.
• Build and merchandise product displays.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
