Delivery Driver/Courier
About The Position
InfuCare Rx is a home infusion provider offering IV therapy and specialty pharmacy services in the homecare setting. The Driver works under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Manager and collaborates with the healthcare team to support pharmacy operations and deliver products to customers and patients. Duties are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures, state professional standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. The Driver delivers products safely, courteously, and on time as directed by the Pharmacy Team. The role also assists with packing orders and preparing deliveries or shipments as needed. The delivery area includes the Mid-Atlantic states, including Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Virginia.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to correctly and safely operate a large vehicle, such as a box truck or cargo van.
- Clean background check and drug screen.
- Excellent reading, writing, speaking, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the team to deliver orders and packages in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with customers and patients to facilitate problem-free deliveries.
- Care for and keep company vehicles clean.
- Schedule maintenance for company vehicles.
- Maintain and clean the warehouse as directed and as needed.
- Confirm deliveries according to company protocols.
- Assist with recording and maintaining delivery logs and signatures.
- Assist in the warehouse when not on a route, including stocking, packing, and moving boxes.
- Follow appropriate safety and quality assurance practices and comply with state and federal laws.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
