About The Position
UPS is seeking individuals for a Package Delivery Driver role, which involves working in a physical, fast-paced, outdoor environment delivering packages in residential areas. Drivers must possess excellent customer contact and driving skills, and comply with UPS appearance guidelines. A valid Class 5 driver's license or higher, issued in Quebec, is required. New drivers may cover multiple residential areas, and area knowledge is considered an asset, as is the ability to read a map.
Requirements
- Valid class 5 driver’s license or higher issued in the province of Quebec
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (35kg) without assistance and 150 lbs. (68kg) with assistance
- Ability to read and navigate with map books
- Minimum 21 years of age (for insurance purposes)
- Mastery of French and English (written and spoken) required
- Provide driver's abstract before road test
- Clean Driver’s Abstract respecting the following conditions: a) No at fault accidents within the last 3 years b) No traffic violations within the last 12 months
