About The Position

This position will require routine time spent away overnight every other week. This position will be responsible for delivering Canadian Energy products to customers. The Delivery Driver will ensure seamless processing of outgoing shipments and is responsible to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments. The Delivery Driver will interact with customers and represent the Canadian Energy brand. This position requires a Class 3 license. This position is located in Paradise, NL.

Requirements

Class 3 driver's license.
1-3 years of professional driving experience.
Positive attitude and results-oriented mindset.
Ability to keep accurate travel expense records.
A safety-focused mindset.
Clean personal and/or commercial driving record.
High school diploma or GED.
Comfortable working independently.
Able to lift 20 kg consistently and safely.

Nice To Haves

B2B sales experience is an asset.
Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.

Responsibilities

Driving regularly scheduled delivery routes in a state-of-the-art Canadian Energy delivery truck.
Completing regular routes in St. John's and the surrounding area, with routine overnight stays (1-2 nights per week) for longer routes.
Interacting with and building relationships with customers during deliveries.
Promoting products and helping customers find the best product solutions to increase sales.
Confirming delivery routes and addresses.
Ensuring all scheduled deliveries are included in the current load.
Maintaining accurate logs and performing vehicle inspections.
Loading and unloading trucks/trailers.
