About The Position

This position is accountable for delivery and merchandizing of all products on an assigned route. The role involves adhering to company programs and policies for safe and timely delivery, maximizing sales, and minimizing returns. The driver will conduct daily pre-trip inspections of their assigned vehicle, ensure all required tools and equipment are available, and move product into stores, restaurants, and bars. They will also rotate existing inventory to maintain freshness, maintain a clean driving record, and adhere to all DOT regulations. The position requires following approved delivery structures and processes, identifying and fulfilling spot sales opportunities, and maintaining product freshness. Drivers will participate in "work with" and "ride with" days with management for coaching and training. Due to DOT regulations, drivers must maintain a pace that allows for completion of deliveries in 12 hours or less. This is a safety-sensitive position due to physical requirements and the need for continual alertness.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age
High School diploma/GED
Must have a driving record acceptable to the Company
Class A CDL required
DOT certificate up-to-date
Personal auto insurance

Responsibilities

Adhere to Company programs and policies that will result in the safe execution of timely delivery, maximized sales, and minimized returns.
Conduct a daily Pre-Tip inspection of his/her assigned vehicle.
Ensures all required tools and equipment are available on the truck.
Move product into stores, restaurants and bars.
Rotate products already in inventory inside the store to maintain freshness.
Maintain a clean driving record.
Adhere to all DOT regulations.
Follow the approved delivery structure and processes and will identify and fulfill spot sales opportunities.
Maintain product freshness and move product when necessary.
Participate in “work with” and “ride with” days with the Delivery Manager and Delivery Team Leader to obtain coaching and training opportunities in the field.
Must maintain a pace of work that enables drivers to complete their deliveries in 12 hours or less due to DOT regulations.
