About The Position

Carter Lumber is seeking CDL Delivery Specialists to transport orders to local customer jobsites safely and efficiently using a company-owned fleet. This role involves meeting daily delivery schedules, providing excellent customer service, and unloading materials using a dump bed or truck-mounted forklift. Requirements

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift
• An acceptable driving record
• A current CDL license
• Ability to be a team player

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred

Responsibilities

• Transporting orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using a well-maintained and company-owned fleet.
• Ensuring daily delivery schedules are met.
• Providing friendly and professional customer service.
• Unloading materials using a dump bed or truck-mounted forklift to place them at the customer's desired location.
