About The Position
Empire Distributors Inc, a leading beverage distributor, is now hiring a Delivery Driver Assistant. This position will cover Catawba County (Hickory, Conover, Newton, Denver, Maiden, and Sherrills Ford). Our company offers competitive wages, potential growth opportunities, and excellent benefits.
Requirements
- Reliable Transportation is a must!
- State ABC license
- Valid driver's license
- Maintain valid automobile insurance within company limit requirements.
- Knowledge of Order processing systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintains product displays and shelf conditions in assigned key accounts as scheduled.
- Travels through assigned territory to assist with deliveries and service customer accounts.
- Fills shelves from displays and back stock to ensure out of stock items are minimized.
- Verifies deliveries during check in process as needed.
- Completes necessary paperwork assigned by Manager.
- Conducts business according to state law.
- Develops and maintains relationships with customers.
- Maintains retail account stock conditions.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Other duties as assigned by the Transportation Manager.
