About The Position

As a Delivery Crew member, you will be responsible for pulling merchandise from the warehouse, assembling and inspecting furniture, driving to customer homes on a predetermined route to ensure efficient and on-time deliveries, and performing housekeeping duties such as disposing of trash. This is a safety-sensitive position that requires the ability to pass drug tests at all times. The role involves working in various environmental conditions and requires physical stamina for lifting and carrying furniture.

Requirements

• MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD AND HAVE A GOOD DRIVING RECORD
• Must be able to bend, stand, reach, pull, lift and carry items. This is includes loading/unloading delivery trucks, carrying furniture into customer's homes, and occasionally up flights of stairs.
• Must Work Weekends
• No prior experience required
• Basic materials handling skills
• Understanding of safety regulations, including OSHA standards
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks (training provided)
• Mechanical knowledge and heavy lifting capability are advantageous
• Ability to work in both hot and cold environments dependent on season
• Must be able to pass a drug test at all times, regardless of medical status.

Responsibilities

• Pulling merchandise/furniture for outgoing deliveries from warehouse
• Inspection and assembly of merchandise/furniture being delivered to customers
• Drive from home-to-home on a predetermined route to maximize efficient and on-time deliveries for our customers
• Disposing of any trash & perform other related duties as assigned
