About The Position

Lexus of Winter Park, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is looking for a tech-savvy Delivery Coordinator to join their dealership team and deliver extraordinary customer service experiences. Penske Automotive Group (PAG) strives to create a positive and inclusive workplace that promotes excellence and achievement, and aims to deliver the very best experience possible to customers. Delivery Coordinators are a critical part of the customer experience at the dealership. They are responsible for preparing customer vehicles for delivery, explaining the benefits and features of vehicles, and providing additional dealership sales support as required.   • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent; and one to two year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Lifting no more than 20 pounds at a time and/or frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Requires a good deal of walking or standing, or could involve sitting most of the time with some pushing and pulling of arm or leg controls.
  • Ability to push, pull, climb, stoop, kneel, reach, grasp, and walk on a regular basis.
  • Ability to talk and hear.

Nice To Haves

  • Two to four year's related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing customer vehicles for delivery.
  • Explaining the benefits and features of vehicles.
  • Providing additional dealership sales support as required.
  • Establishing personal sales and income goals and implementing a plan of action to achieve goals.
  • Effectively promoting the value and benefits of products and services using multiple communications methods, adjusting communication style as required.
  • Understanding, keeping abreast of, and complying with federal, state, and local regulations that impact retail automotive sales.
  • Defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Processing data and organizing it for management analysis.
  • Understanding and following work rules and procedures.
  • Applying common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Applying common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Working independently and carrying out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • Interacting well with others.
