About The Position

East Madison Toyota, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is looking for a tech-savvy Delivery Coordinator to join our dealership team and deliver extraordinary customer service experiences. Our Delivery Coordinators are a critical part of the customer experience at our dealership. Product Specialists are responsible for preparing customer vehicles for delivery, explaining the benefits and features of vehicles, and providing additional dealership sales support as required. This is a great opportunity for an individual with an interest in customer service, strong technical skills, and the desire to grow their career.

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent; and one to two year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record

Responsibilities

  • Preparing customer vehicles for delivery
  • Explaining the benefits and features of vehicles
  • Providing additional dealership sales support as required
  • Establishing personal sales and income goals and implementing a plan of action to achieve goals
  • Effectively promoting the value and benefits of products and services using multiple communications methods, adjusting communication style as required
  • Understanding, keeping abreast of, and complying with federal, state, and local regulations that impact retail automotive sales
  • Defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions
  • Processing data and organizing it for management analysis
  • Adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Computing rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
  • Understanding and following work rules and procedures
  • Applying common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Applying common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • Working independently and carrying out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Interacting well with others
