Delivery Consultant, National Security (NatSec) Professional Services (ProServe)
About The Position
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking highly talented and technical consultants to join its growing Professional Services business. This role involves helping U.S. Intelligence Community agencies implement innovative cloud computing solutions, solve technical problems using the latest cloud technologies, and understand application architectures and integration approaches. The consultant will provide consultative and leadership skills to ensure project success and will be familiar with security best practices for applications, servers, and networks. Professional Services engages in a wide variety of projects, leveraging collective experience from across the AWS customer base with a strong focus on customer success. The team collaborates across the entire AWS organization to bring access to product and service teams, ensuring the right solutions are delivered and driving feature innovation based on customer needs.
Requirements
- 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
- Knowledge of the primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53 & S3)
- Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
- Must opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.
Nice To Haves
- 5+ years of IT implementation experience
- Degree in advanced technology, or AWS Professional level certification
- Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
- Experience and technical expertise (design and implementation) in cloud computing technologies
- Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or recent hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience
- Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments
- Experience presenting technical solutions to diverse audiences in pre-sales environments
