About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to staff local stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career growth, including advancement into management and other roles. Drivers deliver orders within a designated area and also perform general store team-member duties, including operating equipment, preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, and cleaning the store and equipment. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses in the delivery area, including navigating adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
• Ability to understand and provide correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to perform the described physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and occasionally climbing stairs or a ladder.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and navigate to customer addresses.
• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Perform outside tasks such as removing trash.
• Unload ingredient and supply deliveries using a hand truck and stock items on shelves.
• Communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders in person and by telephone.
