About The Position

The Wauwatosa Scheels will open April 3rd, 2027. This full-time position will start in November/December of 2026. We will start hiring part-time positions in November of 2026. Requirements

  • Must possess a clean, valid driver’s license
  • Must be an approved driver through DOT (DOT may not apply to all store locations) and Scheels Driving Standards
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High School Diploma, or General Education Degree (GED)
  • One to three months of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred
  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain safety and accuracy during the loading and transport of merchandise to prevent damage to the products and customers' homes
  • Efficiently assemble, service, and deliver customer and store merchandise. This may include, but is not limited to, exercise machines, trampolines, basketball hoops, grills, furniture, game tables, bicycles, and other Scheels merchandise
  • Troubleshoot and respond to customer delivery and equipment issues
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records for the store, customer equipment, and delivery trucks
  • Ensure a clean and professional appearance of the Scheels delivery trucks and the delivery area in your store
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve assembly and delivery issues
  • Be respectful of the customer’s home and property throughout the delivery process
  • All other duties as assigned
